I live on a small island off the coast of British Columbia, Canada called Salt Spring Island. I’ve lived here my whole life and appreciate the beauty of island living. In October 2013 I got the chance to go over to Vancouver to record my first EP at Fader Mountain Sound Studios. Having parents that’ve been musicians themselves means that they know a lot of people in the business, so I was lucky enough to have Winston Hauschild, a former touring member of my Dad’s band Ginger, record, produce and mix it. The EP took 4 days to record and I had the pleasure of having my Dad and Uncle (two thirds of the Grapes of Wrath) play bass and drums on it. We took inspiration from The Eagles, America, Bread, The Beatles and Tom Petty (among others.)
I hope you like it!
